I'm one of those people who's always curious about things. How they work, what they do, and why. My eclectic interests have drawn me to explore many different mediums of art, from ceramics to oil painting, from glass blowing to digital art, from photography to music.
I have my B.A. in Fine Arts, with a dual major in Ceramics and Oil Painting.
I love carpentry, traditional woodworking and carving. I'm a self-taught blacksmith, and I'm currently teaching myself to weld. I work as an Agricultural Historian in my day job, specializing in 18th C. farming in S.E. Pennsylvania. I love to repair/restore old pieces of agricultural equipment, and to build reproductions, from stone boats to well-sweeps and A-frame harrows.
I'm also an avid scanographer and love to do digital manipulations of photos and scans.
So, you can see, I'm all over the place in my interests. I wouldn't have it any other way!
Thought I'd share some new images of poisonous plants. The first is a new digital manipulation, and the second is my first (crude) attempt at an HDR image. Let me know what you think! (click images for a larger view)
